What is Open Graph?
Open Graph is a protocol originally created by Facebook that lets any web page describe how it should appear when shared on social platforms. When someone posts your URL to Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Slack, or Discord, the platform reads the og: meta tags in your HTML head and generates a rich card with a title, description, and image.
Recommended sizes
The safest image ratio is 1.91:1 (for example 1200×630 pixels). Keep your title under 60 characters and your description under 155 so nothing gets truncated. Always provide an absolute HTTPS URL for the image — relative paths don't work when the tag is scraped by third parties.
